Summit Air and Summit Helicopters represent the amalgamation of Summit Air, Arctic Sunwest Charters, and Trinity Helicopters.

Ledcor concluded the purchase of Trinity Helicopters, subject to regulatory approval, in January 2013, and Arctic Sunwest Charters in August 2012. In March 2014, Summit Helicopters acquired CC Helicopters to expand its capabilities and capacity and add to its operations. Summit Air has been operating out of Yellowknife for over twenty years and was purchased by Ledcor in 2009.
