The Ledcor-Haisla Limited Partnership (LHLP) and Keller Foundations Ltd., operating jointly as LHLP-Keller, were subcontracted to perform extensive piling work on the gas liquefaction and export facility in Kitimat, BC.
Piling is a high-risk activity due to its large equipment and materials; therefore, the LHLP-Keller team and partners made it their mission to ensure that all safety and environmental practices were upheld throughout all project phases.
Additionally, through the LHLP, Ledcor has prioritized training, development, and jobs for Haisla Nation members throughout all scopes of work on the LNG Canada project.
Our ability to engage multi-disciplinary expertise from across Ledcor’s different divisions contributed to the success of this LHLP-Keller’s project. This One Ledcor approach of applying our cumulative experience was brought to the following scopes of work: marine base office and communications centre, outside battery limits site piling, heavy haul bridges piling, the Kitimat River side channel sheet pile cofferdams, and bund wall sheet piling.
