For this One Ledcor construction management project, Ledcor fast-tracked the build of a five-storey Amazon Robotics and Sortation facility to facilitate specialized e-commerce fulfillment. To meet the needs of the client, this 269,419 sq. m. (2.9 million sq. ft.) multi-level logistics facility – designed with state-of-the-art robotics and material handling technology – was constructed in 16 months. The structural steel frame includes composite slabs on deck, precast exterior walls with insulated metal panels and a thermoplastic polyolefin roof, while the site itself spans 66 acres and includes 1,250 car parking stalls, 275 tractor trailer stalls and multiple out-parcel buildings.
