The 1927 Case Goods Warehouse, located in Toronto’s historic Distillery District, was recently restored both inside and out as the new home for the Collége Boréal Toronto campus. The facility consists of 30 high-tech classrooms, a nursing lab, software lab, an early childhood education centre, event and general use space, and offices. Along with new roofing and advanced mechanical and electrical upgrades, the heritage components of the four-storey building were either refurbished or replaced with materials that matched the original, creating a facility that retains its heritage while offering students modern, comfortable spaces with cutting-edge technology. A connecting bridge on the 3rd level of the Cannery heritage building was also refurbished.
