As part of our current five-year contract with long-time client Suncor Energy, Ledcor is now carrying out civil construction on an as-requested basis by Suncor at the company’s Millennium oil sands mine north of Fort McMurray. Current work includes stabilization and construction of tailings dykes, removal and stockpiling of reclamation material, and construction of haul roads, pipe corridors, electrical right of ways, and engineered drainage structures, as well as other services.
