Ledcor’s commitment to safety through zero accidents and best practices has been recognized by the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) Honolulu District. Our Hawaii team has been presented with a prestigious Certificate of Recognition for Safety from the USACE, one of only five such certificates to be awarded in 2013 for the area encompassing the state of Hawaii, Guam and American Samoa. This award recognizes the achievement of 165,000 person hours without a safety incident.
It is monumental that this achievement took place over the extended period of 889 days. Throughout project changes and potential distractions, Ledcor employees were vigilant in their regard for procedures and policies that resulted in a safety culture operating at maximum effort.
This achievement fortifies Ledcor’s safety commitment and verifies that it truly works when everyone involved is focused and committed to ‘Think Safety. Act Safely.’
