Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan branches of Ledcor Construction Limited have been named a 2022 Constructing Safety Leadership Award winner by the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA) for Corporate Leadership in Safety.
These annual awards recognize and celebrate companies and leaders in Saskatchewan’s building construction industry for their commitment to safety excellence. Winners are evaluated on their safety practices, achievements in safety leadership, contributions to positive safety culture, and their efforts towards the SCSA’s vision of creating the safest construction environment in Canada.
“We are proud of the entire Saskatchewan Ledcor team whose efforts have made recognition like this a reality,” said Brian Barber, Senior Vice President, Operations. “Ledcor’s foundational values and culture of Think Safety, Work Safely is reflected in this award.” Regional Safety Coordinator Sheldon Zepick added, “It is a great honour to be recognized. Ledcor has an impressive safety program that our site personnel have taken to heart. With zero TRIF for three consecutive years, it’s our people that have won this award for Ledcor Saskatchewan.”
“At the SCSA, we know that business owners have a lot on their plates, which is why we work to provide great tools and supports to assist companies in preventing injuries and saving costs,” said SCSA president Collin Pullar. “We appreciate the work done by our members to ensure a healthy workforce and show that safety contributes to a strong and profitable industry.
