Vancouver, BC. As part of its ongoing support for pediatric health care, The Ledcor Group of Companies has donated $125,000 to the Alberta University Hospital Foundation’s Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute.
This gift will be used towards the purchase of a Perseus Anesthesia Machine, which is specialized to support life-saving heart surgery for children – from the tiniest premature infants up to adolescent youth.
In addition to this donation, to celebrate its 75th anniversary Ledcor recently announced a $3 million donation over four years – $750,000 a year – to support charities that focus on pediatric healthcare initiatives across their office locations in Canada and the US.
Ledcor and its employees are committed to supporting the local communities where we live and work by investing funding, shared expertise, and providing skills training. Ledcor’s goal is to leave a positive legacy in everything we do – socially, environmentally and financially.
Over the last 75 years, Ledcor has prioritized community giving through several employee-led initiatives and programs. As a part of the employee-led program Ledcor Cares, over the last decade Ledcor and our employees have invested over $24 million to more than 200 charities across North America, as well as supporting communities through various professional development, sustainability, research, and initiatives.
