For over a decade, Ledcor Marine has been a key player in British Columbia’s waterways. Today, it’s one of the largest marine operations serving natural resources and industrial customers in the region. Ledcor Marine owns and operates nine tugboats and twenty-six barges deployed in the Fraser River and southern BC waters. This versatile fleet includes flat deck, aggregate, fiber/biomass, sectional barges, and coastal tugs.

In 2019, the Marine group began supporting the Ledcor Civil Mining and Infrastructure group (CMI) with the Trans Mountain Expansion Project located at the Westridge Terminal in Burrard Inlet. Their work consisted of delivering and storing construction materials using barges and tug support. To meet project demands, Ledcor Marine acquired additional barges – which proved to be crucial for foreshore development.

Ledcor Marine’s services include barge and marine towing, marine construction, and specialty projects. As an industry leader, Ledcor Marine is committed to providing unwavering safety, leadership, efficient scheduling and consistent quality in all services when transporting goods in BC’s waterways.
