Ledcor Cares

For the second year in a row, Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) employees in Toronto demonstrated its Ledcor Cares spirit by raising $15,000 for Ronald McDonald House. From March to mid-June, more than 180 employees participated in raffles to raise funds which Ledcor matched.

On June 25, the employees' efforts helped purchase the ingredients needed for a delicious dinner, as well as prepare and serve, for the residents of Ronald McDonald House Toronto, as part of their Home for Dinner program.

The remaining funding was donated to provide on-going support for Ronald McDonald House Toronto. Their mission is to offer supportive living accommodations for families needing to be close to the medical facilities where their seriously ill children are being treated.

The visit was especially poignant for some employees whose families are, or have been, deeply affected by childhood illness and have personally used the facility.

The LTS employees were very moved by the families' appreciation and felt they took more away from the experience than they gave.  Thanks to our partners for their prize donations that made this event possible.
