Ledcor Cares

Earlier in June, Ledcor employees participated in the BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH) Miracle Weekend, presenting a cheque for over $105,000 to support this year’s telethon. 

The two-day event, which was broadcasted live on Global TV, celebrated the fundraising efforts undertaken throughout the year from groups across BC, with total fundraising reaching over $20 million in 2017 and a historic $300 million raised over the 30-year history of Miracle Weekend.  

Ledcor employees raised most donations during the annual giving campaign, through local fundraising events, individual pledges, and corporate matching. Earlier this year, Ledcor’s softball team also helped raise $13,000 during the annual BCCH Slo-Pitch Tournament.

Thank you to everyone who showcased their Ledcor Cares spirit by participating in Ledcor’s efforts to the BCCH. We’re proud to have supported the Hospital and telethon since 1988, and we look forward to maintaining our relationship with them as they continue their great work for children and families across the province.
