The Ledcor Group of Companies has donated another $750,000 to support Canadian and US charities that focus on pediatric healthcare initiatives. To celebrate its 75th anniversary last year, Ledcor announced a $3 million donation to children’s charities over four years.

“Supporting the communities where we live and work has been part of Ledcor’s identity since the very beginning,” said Dave Lede, Chairman and CEO at Ledcor Group. “For 75 years Ledcor and its employees have been assisting others in need, and I am very pleased to be continuing this support for children and their families across North America.” 

Donations have been made to 35 children’s hospitals and foundations across North America, with $150,000 going to organizations in the US. This second year of donations brings the total to $1.5 million since November 2022.

Over the last 75 years, Ledcor has prioritized community giving through several employee-led initiatives and programs. In addition to this $3 million donation over four years, Ledcor and its employees have invested over $24 million to more than 200 charities across North America over the last decade as a part of the employee-led program Ledcor Cares.  

This legacy-building approach to community giving goes beyond financial support. It also provides training and resources for professional development, sustainability, research, and initiatives. Ledcor’s goal is to leave a positive legacy in everything we do – socially, environmentally and financially.
