More Lunches to come and another hospital added to the Fuel for Families Powered by Ledcor in partnership with RMHCNA

Since 2014, Ledcor has sponsored the Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern Alberta (RMHCNA) Fuel for Families Powered by Ledcor lunch delivery program whereby Ledcor volunteers prepare and deliver healthy lunches each week to families staying at the Stollery Children's Hospital. The program, which has delivered 21,225 lunches to date overall, is a small token of support that we are proud to provide to ease the strain of families whose children are experiencing difficult medical challenges, and long hospital stays. 

Due to the success of the program, we are pleased to announce the Fuel for Families Powered by Ledcor Lunch Program renewal. In April of this year, Ledcor finalized the commitment to expand the lunch program over the next three years to include not only Edmonton's Stollery Children's Hospital but also the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. Additionally, we will continue to volunteer alongside RMHCNA to prepare and deliver the meals to the local Edmonton hospitals. Since 2013, our volunteers have given 795 hours to the program, and in 2016, we had 57 new volunteers join the group!

The 2017 lunch program has gotten off to a great start so far, and we are excited to keep participating and growing the program over the next three years!
