In October 2020, Ledcor held its annual Employee Giving Campaign, raising approximately $1.7M through donations and corporate match. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic in 2020, the team was still able to run several local and corporate fundraising events that had employees both collaborating with, and competing against each other, inspiring all involved to give and share that little bit more. Since 2013 this campaign has now raised over $12M.
Connecting with our communities is important to Ledcor. In 2020 the Employee Giving Campaign was extended to four weeks, giving employees more time to participate in fundraising events, such as live trivia, pumpkin carving and virtual walks, while learning about the charities that Ledcor supports, and what that support means.
“I feel so privileged to have been part of the campaign this year,” says Farran Hobbs, Executive Sponsor 2020. “Seeing the energy and passion that everyone brings to it is truly inspiring, especially this year when we really had to creatively engage. While the results truly exceeded expectations, I was more overwhelmed by the stories and drive that brings this campaign together.”
Employee contributions through pledges and fundraising activities are corporately matched dollar for dollar, and continue to support wish granting, hot meals for homeless youth, equipment purchases, and programs that assist those in need.
